Meet Mr. Sweeting

Mr. Sweeting is a native of Nassau, Bahamas where he spent the better part of his adolescent life
before moving to the U.S. in 1999. Mr. Sweeting finished High School and furthered his
academic and athletic career at West Oaks Academy in Orlando, Florida.

Mr. Sweeting started his college career at North Carolina Central University before migrating
north as a transfer to Thiel College in western Pennsylvania. During his time at Thiel, he began
to hone his leadership skills by continuing to excel academically and athletically in both
basketball and football. Mr. Sweeting received academic excellence recognition in 2005 and 2006.
He also received All Conference accolades in football in 2006 and was inducted into the Thiel College
Athletic Hall of Fame for football in October of 2021.

Mr. Sweeting graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Thiel in 2007 and earned a
master’s degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2015. He has worked in the
Human Services field for almost 17 years including management roles at Devereux Advanced
Behavioral Health, Camelot Education, The Academy Community Based Services, Chester
County Children Youth and Family Services, Kelsch Associates, and CareLink Community
Support Servies. Mr. Sweeting is also an Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) Certified
Investigator.

Mr. Sweeting has always had a heart for working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
That passion and his extensive experience in the field manifested into the establishment of
SweetTree Support Services, LLC in 2023.
